Storage & Maintenance Instructions

ELIZENTERPRISES recommends storing all stationery in dry, cool spaces away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause fading, discoloration or brittle deformation, while damp air can trigger rust on metal parts and mold on wooden pieces. Keep bookmarks, pens and rulers separated from sharp hard objects to prevent surface scratches.

Wooden bookmarks should be kept away from water and steam; wipe off moisture immediately if contact occurs. Metal bookmarks need regular gentle wiping with dry soft cloths to avoid oxidation spots. Acrylic and paper bookmarks are fragile against high temperature, so do not leave them inside closed hot cars or near heating appliances. Store flat to prevent bending and warping.

For pens from ELIZENTERPRISES, always cap the writing tip after use to stop ink drying and clogging. Clean residual ink from the barrel and nib regularly with clean water according to pen material limits. Silicone grip pens should avoid contact with oily lotions, which may damage the matte anti-slip texture. Do not drop pens from high heights to prevent internal structure breakage.

Metal rulers must stay dry to avoid rust on scale lines. Frosted acrylic rulers cannot be cleaned with rough abrasive cloths, as these will scratch the matte surface and affect measuring clarity. Wooden rulers require occasional dry cloth polishing to preserve natural grain texture, and should not be soaked in water for any length of time.

Avoid placing heavy items on top of thin stationery to prevent permanent bending. Do not use chemical cleaners, alcohol or bleach to wipe any surface, as these will corrode textures and fade printed patterns. If minor stains appear, gently rub the area with a slightly damp soft cotton cloth and air-dry naturally afterward.
